Something to smile about on a wintery afternoon.....

As I haven't written on my blog for a long time.....I thought I would start with something cheery. Also something to look forward too...

Christian Dior's Spring/Summer 2011.......

At Paris fashion week.....

Christian Dior called in John Galliano to create these fantasies.

Galliano's designs are certainly ones to catch your eye....with the various amounts of bright colours and nautical themes. Galliano described this show as 'off duty elegance with a tropical twist'.

The collection for 2011 mixed a variety of marine themes, from Polynesia and the docks of Marlon Brando's 'On the Waterfront' to the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical 'South Pacific', and Rainer Fassbinder's 1982 film, 'Querelle'.

This catwalk show certainly warmed me up, on these wintery days we have been recieveing.....

Miss Alba you are looking beautiful!!!....

Jessica Alba was looking beautiful attending the Boss Black Show, which is part of the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2011 in Berlin.

I love her dress choice here and how she has accessorized this outfit with just a few bracelets. Her natural make up and throw back hair do just finish this outfit off.

I really want these bracelets.

She looks really pretty and fresh.....just perfect!xx

Lily Allen......

Lily Allen has always been an idol and an inspiration to me, how she uses her past and her own life experiences to write her music. Some of her lyrics really relate to some experiences I have been through.
And now her fashion style is getting increasingly better. I have to admit I wasn't a fan of the dress and Nike Air Max combos, however her new look I love......

She has just been the cover for Elle's August edition...and she looks beautiful....

Before these images for Elle magazine, I love Lily's images that she did for Chanel.....here are a few images....I just think she is beautiful.....

Lily Allen will always remain an inspiration and a real icon for me.......I just love her!!!!!xx

My New Favourite Buys.....

These are my beautiful new buys.......

This pretty, royal blue and white polka dot dress is from Primark for £13. I absolutely love this dress.

These are my wonderful and comfortable shoes. They are from New Look at £22, but with my student discountthey were £19.80. The frills on the back just make my shoes.

These are just two of my best buys recently and they go really well together!!xx

'Lo spettacolo finale'.......

My final show......one word.....AMAZING!!!!!

I was so pleased with how my garments looked....I had fallen ill just before my final hand in, so it was touch and go whether I would even have any garments for the final show.....

So at the last minute everything was rush, rush, rush!!!!

My model looked immense too...I couldn't have asked for a better model...well models...

My two garments, the yellow dress and the cream coat...

I don't have many pictures...as I was too busy watching...but watch this space I am doing a photoshoot for these garments.....

Oh and by the 14th of July I will officially have a foundation degree in fashion!!!!
