Disappointed....

If anyone didn't watch the Cheryl Cole programme, 'A night in with Cheryl Cole', I was bitterly disappointed....she didn't host the programme herself.....

I honestly cannot say anything else but.....disappointed.x

Rodarte......

I first came across this brand when I was completing my last project....and I have just come across it again and I thought I'd share.....

Rodarte are a brand consisting of two sisters Kate and Laura Mulleavy, and their brand Rodarte are now globally stocked in shops like for example, Harvey Nichols.

Here is one of their previous collections for Spring/Summer 2009....I LOVE LOVE LOVE THESE!!!!!!!This is one of my favourites, check out closely for the embellishment.

I love the style of this dress, I wish I had a dress like this...

I wanted to put the whole collection but it would have taken me ages. Check the whole collection out on Vogue's website.

The detail is immense,the style, and the colours....what can I say, I can't get enough of this collection.

They're about to release a collection,'Target/Rodarte', on the 20th December. I really like this collection, it's very rock chick sort of style....here it is....

Miss Newcastle 2010......

If you didn't already know I study fashion at Newcastle College...and as a class we've been given a task, for Miss Newcastle 2010, to design and make an outfit based on a Disney Classic.....Alice In Wonderland.
As I been looking for ideas I have come across that Alice In Wonderland is being brought out again next year....March the 5th to be precise.....just take a look at some of these images from the film.

The animation on the film looks immense.

Johnny Depp is also starring as the 'Mad Hatter'.

The film looks really perculiar compared to the original Disney film.

It looks really good and I can't wait to see it, never mind design an outfit based on the film. xx

These are lush.....

Designers are definitely becoming artists. Such beautiful prints.

Christian Siriano shows off a blue, black, and white printed asymmetrical gown with an abundance of positive energy.

So vibrant and girly.

Definitely a step in the right direction for a bright and sunny summer. xx

Lady Gaga....Love or Hate??....

Lady Gaga causes such uproar with her outrageous clothing.....I think she's creative and has her own super cool, outrageous style. I quite like her designs for her new video, they are rather racey and sexy....

I feel that she is quite empowering as well...

Just think if she didn't dress the way she did I don't think she would be in as many magazines as she is....

I'm super excited to see what she is going to wear on the X Factor.....xx

Skinny?......Curvy?......

I can't understand why some celebs find the need to go to the extreme of being so skinny you can see all their bones. It's just not attractive in my eyes. Curves are so much more womanly and sexier. Look at this picture of Alexa Chung....shes looking ill, her face is so withdrawn.

Look at the likes of Beyonce her body is immense, so womanly, and I would prefer to have Beyonce's body shape, than showing all of my bones. These sort of pictures should be shown more by the media to encourage more women and young girls to be proud of their shape and curves.

There's always a debate on size zero models, come on the outfits they wear wouldn't fit on most women. So why not use models that are the size of most women, surely there wouldn't be any more arguing on the size of models. Plus.....there would be far less models developing eating disorders due to the fact of trying to be so skinny to achieve their goal of becoming a size zero model, when to be honest their risking their life!!!!

Ok ok that's my rant over for now.....sometimes it really gets to me. I love my curves, but sometimes I feel the pressure of the media, and today I felt the pressure (blame my tv), this is why I have had my first rant.

I feel alot better now.x

Shoes......I LOVE!!!!!!

I thought I'd post some shoes that I love.....for example, I never ever really shop in Quiz but as I walked past today I was drawn to these shoes....Then I eye spied these the last time I was at work.....by the way I work at Peacocks...Oh my days I forgot about these cuties from Dune, can't decide whether I like them in the black or the grey.....

Then I found these cute flat shoes when I was flicking about on the Topshop website.....I now want them...

By far though the best buy of shoes for me recently are my shoes from Peacocks....(I know mentioning the shop I work in twice on one post...sad)......but they are sooooooooo comfy and I love them!!!!!

New Military.....

While I was walking round Newcastle today, I'm really starting to want a military styled coat......

There are some really smart ones.....like these ones from River Island...I even put the prices on...

And don't forget the lovely Mrs C owns a military jacket.......xx

Sequins are a key fashion statement this christmas.
Everything and anything have sequins on.....
Shoes..
Leggings..
Blazers..
Waistcoats..
T-shirts..
Bras..
Dresses..
Bags..
Belts..
Even jewellery...I own a bracelet with sequins on.

I feel that the sequins are giving a real feel for christmas!!!
Definitely a MUST HAVE!!!!!xx
